Job Details

We are looking for a Quality Control Chemist for our manufacturing plant in Marsing.  The QC Chemist evaluates raw materials, intermediaries and finished products for quality to assure conformity to established standards. Hands-on lab experience using HPLC & GC as well as other tests.

You will:

• Test raw materials, process intermediaries and finished products using prescribed tests and provide results to the manufacturing team
• Use and maintain laboratory equipment including Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and other instruments
• Perform physical property testing including density, pH, water content and viscosity
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per OSHA and GLP standards
• Perform other assignments as necessary and required by management

What you need:

• B.S. in Chemistry or similar scientific field that include laboratory experience
• 1+ year Analytical laboratory experience in a chemical or formulation setting (which could be in school)
• GLP techniques (desired)
• Ability to analyze and interpret data from experiments
• Computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Word
• Ability to work nights or evenings - Monday through Friday
• Must pass post-offer physical and background checks
