GRS specializes in the repair and programming of automotive modules/computers. Main responsibilities will be installation/removal of automotive instrument clusters and programming modules on-site. GRS is a mobile service which services the Treasure Valley area's automotive industry. We are currently hiring for an Automotive Technician position with the potential for long-term growth for the right candidate. A work vehicle and all necessary tools will be provided.

This position is full-time, long term and has opportunities for advancement.

The candidate will have Basic knowledge in Windows 7 & 10 with experience in automotive or an interest to learn about automotive programming as well as printed circuit board test & repair. Knowledge in automotive communications, electronics, and basic electronic theory is a plus however, we will train the right person. You will be trained how to remove and install instrument clusters, calibrate gauges and program vehicles with our laptops and software. Must be self-motivated and can manage your time.

Employees will be interacting with other automotive shops and are expected to be courteous, professional and prioritize our customers’ needs in a timely matter.

Ability to pass a background check.

Customer service skills.

Ability to carefully remove and install automotive dashes with attention to detail.

Familiarity with basic PC computer knowledge and be able to navigate Windows 7 & 10.
