Job Details

Dignified Transport contracts with funeral homes and other entities to transport decedents from place of death to the mortuary. Duties include arriving in a timely manner to the residence or place of death, interacting professionally with family/caregivers, gracefully loading the decedent onto a gurney, and transporting back to the funeral home. Van, gurney and other materials are provided. 

Must be reliable, well-spoken, relatively fit, and have a good driving record.  This position is "on-call," but generally receives approximately 10-25 hours/week or more depending on availability. Days, nights, and weekend shifts are available, and ideal for people with flexible schedules. Employees are 1099 independent contractors. No experience necessary.
