The Department of Health and Welfare's Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) is recruiting for seven Community Resource Development Specialist (CRDS) positions across the state to serve as Crisis Community Specialists as part of the FEMA Idaho Office of Emergency Management (IOEM) grants focusing on COVID-19. These positions will act as local crisis counselors/resource experts for the region in which they live, and will report to the Program Director. These are full time temporary positions, with benefits, for up to one year to support the Department's response to COVID-19.
These seven CRDS positions will provide services based out of the following DBH regional office locations (1 in each location): Region 1 - Coeur d'Alene, Region 2 - Lewiston, Region 3 - Caldwell, Region 4 - Boise, Region 5- Twin Falls, Region - 6 Pocatello, and Region 7 - Idaho Falls. These positions may provide services in any of the surrounding areas in their identified region. Make sure you have indicated on your application which geographic areas you are willing to work. These selections are made under Agency Questions, Question #6. Failing to select a location you are interested in may result in not being included on a referred/hiring list for that location, even if you passed the exam.
