As a member of our sales team, the Sales Representative will generate appointments with decision makers, primarily by phone, email, and social media. The Sales Representative will close the sale and generate software subscriptions..
Candidate should have the necessary skills and experience to develop the sales strategy and execution for a startup. This is a unique opportunity to join a local tech startup and to grow an existing customer base as we move into the next phase of growth.
Identify potential customers in assigned sales territory or as directed by management.
Cold calls and emails to business
Identifying and building relationships with decision makers
Product ambassador to nurture new customers
Market research on competitors to ensure appropriate sales approach.
Maintain and update lead status in CRM
Provide status reports to management
Assist periodically with associated duties necessary to develop sales department.
Product demos in person and via web.
Meeting sales quotas and closing sales.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven ability to generate sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide a high level of response to customer inquiries.
Motivated and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.
Self-starter with good organization and time management skills is a must.
Comfortable with basic technological concepts
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The hours for this position are 09:00 to 05:00 Monday through Friday; however, flexibility for schedule to be modified in accordance with potential leads and sales requirements.
Must be outgoing and willing to engage with cold leads.
Compensation will be a mix of hourly pay and commission incentives. Candidates shall submit salary expectations when applying.
