Environmental Field Technician / Consultant
Location: Boise, Idaho
Project Duration: 1–3 Years
Compensation: Pay based on experience | Per Diem Offered
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Environmental Field Technician / Consultant to support a
large-scale, long-term construction project in Boise, Idaho. This is a great opportunity for individuals
looking to grow their career in environmental compliance and construction support. On-the-job training
will be provided, and we are open to candidates with varying levels of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) monitoring and compliance
• Support recycling and waste management efforts on-site
• Assist with spill response monitoring and cleanup coordination
• Conduct basic air monitoring and environmental observations
• Support environmental compliance efforts for active construction projects
Required Qualifications:
• Interest in environmental work, construction, or field-based roles
• Some environmental, safety, or construction-related experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and work in an active outdoor environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
Preferred (Not Required):
• HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous construction site or field experience
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations or safety practices
