Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Realty Asset Management, Inc. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial properties. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to maintain the quality and functionality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and management, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to equipment, appliances, and building infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with property management to prioritize work orders and manage inventory of maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local codes and regulations.
  • Assist with special projects and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role within commercial property management.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members and tenants.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Valid driver`s license and reliable transportation.
