Operations Coordinator

  2026-10-22     Climate     all cities,AK
Description:

Climate risk, carbon data, ESG obligations — our clients make decisions with long consequences, and someone has to make sure the machinery behind those decisions runs quietly. That's mostly meetings, documents, deadlines, and follow-ups across three time zones. We're hiring an Operations Coordinator to run that machinery.

This is not a background role. You'll sit inside the working rhythm of a small consultancy — California, Cairo, Singapore — and the quality of what clients experience often comes down to whether the right document reached the right person at the right moment. That will be your doing.

What a typical week looks like

  • Coordinating client meetings across US, Egypt, and Singapore time zones — the calendar is a puzzle and you'll own it
  • Turning meetings into minutes, minutes into action items, action items into closed loops
  • Preparing briefing packs and document sets ahead of client engagements
  • Keeping client records, contacts, and engagement histories current and findable
  • Drafting routine correspondence with clients and partners
  • Chasing the small things before they become the embarrassing things
  • Flagging conflicts and gaps early — we'd rather hear "this doesn't add up" than discover it in front of a client

You'll do well here if you

  • Have 1–2 years in an administrative, coordination, or client-support role
  • Write clean, professional English — most of your output is writing
  • Are genuinely comfortable with Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Drive, Gmail)
  • Can hold ten open threads in your head and close them in order
  • Ask before guessing — wrong confidence costs us more than a question
  • Can anchor roughly US business hours, with flexibility for the occasional early call with Cairo or late one with Singapore
  • Are authorized to work in the United States

No climate background required. Curiosity helps; we'll teach you the rest. Several people on our team came from fields that had nothing to do with ESG.

What we offer

  • $22–$26 per hour (~$46,000–$54,000 per year), depending on experience
  • Fully remote, with a stipend for your home office setup
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance — we cover 75% of the premium
  • 401(k) with a company match
  • 15 days PTO plus paid holidays
  • An annual learning budget — including support for sustainability certifications if you want them
  • Direct exposure to real climate and ESG work across three markets; this role grows with the firm

Before you apply

Submit your resume here on LinkedIn. One short question, a few honest sentences: tell us about a time you caught a small mistake or a missed detail before it caused a real problem — how did you notice, and what did you do?

We read every answer.
