Accounting Assistant - Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING an Accounting Assistant in Boise, Idaho!

Our client, a growing plastics fabrication and manufacturing company, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and supporting a busy manufacturing environment.

Pay and Schedule: $18.00-$22.00 per hour DOE, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

What you'll do:

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile invoices, receipts, and account statements
• Prepare and process customer invoices
• Assist with collections and customer account follow-up
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations
• Review transactions for accuracy and proper coding
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding billing and payments
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department
• Assist with reporting, filing, and other accounting-related projects as needed

What you'll need:

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check and be drug-free
