DescriptionPosition Objective : This position is responsible for the movement, storage, tracking, and control of materials within the plant. The role ensures that production has the right materials at the right time while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient workflow.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders or packing slipsOversee safe movement of materials to designated storage areas or production linesPerform quarterly inventory and maintain accurate inventory recordsReceives and verifies all incoming material.Label, organize, and store materials to ensure easy accessibility and proper rotationDesignates and maintains material storage areas; develops and supervises material staging programsProcesses all material movement forms and parts requisitionsCoordinate with plant maintenance to ensure proper maintenance of material handling equipment and storage facilitiesEnsure compliance with safety standards and proper material handling proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedThis position is also expected to:Work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a positive, professional demeanor at all timesProvide outstanding customer service to internal and external clientsBe very detail oriented and well organizedBe skilled at problem solving and analysisRequirementsQualifications and Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory controlExperience operating forklifts or other material handling equipmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systemsJob RequirementsMay require a drug test (after conditional offer of employment)Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while handling inventory and materials, perform frequent hand and arm movements for tracking and organizing items, use a computer for data entry with repetitive hand and wrist motions, and regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.Tolerance for warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise and moving equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
