Warehouse Order Picker And PackerOur client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking three warehouse order pickers and packers for a contract engagement at its Boise, Idaho distribution facility. This role supports order fulfillment operations through equipment operation, order picking, packing, and inventory scanning.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate ride-on electric pallet jacks (EPJ) to transport product safely throughout the facility.Use RF handheld arm scanners to verify, track, and process inventory and customer orders.Accurately pick and pack orders to meet daily productivity and quality standards.Load, unload, and stage product weighing 10 to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.Retrieve product from shelving at various heights, including reaching up to 72 inches.Constantly bend and twist while operating equipment and retrieving product from lower shelves.Perform duties in temperature-controlled environments, including coolers and freezers.Required QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.2-3 years of relevant warehouse or distribution experience.Demonstrated ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ) operating experience.Demonstrated RF scanner experience with handheld arm scanners.Order picking and packing experience in a warehouse setting.Ability to lift 10-75 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds.Ability to stand and work on feet for 10-12 hours per shift.Ability to work in extreme temperature environments (cooler and freezer).Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in food service distribution or a high-volume distribution center.Familiarity with cold-chain warehouse operations.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.About the RoleLocation: Boise, Idaho (on-site; no travel required, 0% travel).Contract duration: Long-term contingent assignment (approximately 3,120 total hours across three openings).Schedule: Sunday through Friday, 5 days per week. Standard shift is 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; shifts may extend to 5:00 AM depending on workload. Friday overtime available if requested.Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with extended shifts up to 10-12 hours as needed.Interviews: Conducted in person, Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, scheduled through the client's vendor management system.Compensation: Competitive rate.
