This individual will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications by performing inspections, measurements, testing, and documentation throughout the production process. This role works closely with the Quality Manager and Machine Shop Manager to identify nonconforming parts, support corrective actions, and maintain compliance with company and industry quality standards.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation.Perform inspections and measurements using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, and Keyence measurement systems.Conduct incoming inspections and quality testing on materials and finished products.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records and reports.Enter quality data into company databases and tracking systems.Identify and communicate nonconforming parts or out-of-specification findings.Support corrective and preventive action efforts to improve product quality.Verify calibration records and ensure inspection equipment remains compliant.Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment.Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company safety policies.
