Warehouse Order Selector

A leading foodservice distribution company is seeking warehouse order selectors for its Boise, Idaho facility. This is a full-time, ongoing contract position within a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment, supporting order fulfillment operations using electric pallet jacks and RF scanning technology.

Location: Boise, ID (5710 Pan Am Blvd, Boise, ID 83716)

Schedule: SundayFriday, 5 days per week (Friday overtime as needed); shift runs 5:30 PM2:00 AM, occasionally until 5:00 AM depending on workload, with a half-hour unpaid lunch

Hours: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)

Contract Duration: Approximately 78 weeks (3,120 total hours)

Travel: None required

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ) to transport and select products
• Utilize handheld RF/arm scanners to accurately pick and pack customer orders
• Retrieve and organize product in cooler and freezer environments
• Lift and move items weighing 1075 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Reach up to 72 inches and frequently bend/twist while operating equipment
• Maintain accuracy, safety, and efficiency standards throughout shift

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• 23 years of relevant warehouse or distribution experience
• Proven experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ)
• RF scanner experience (handheld arm scanner, not headset)
• Order picking and packing experience
• Ability to stand and work on feet for 1012 hour shifts
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including cooler and freezer settings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a high-volume distribution center
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

About the Role:

This position offers a stable, full-time schedule with a leading company in the foodservice distribution industry. Interviews are conducted in person only, scheduled Monday through Thursday between 4 PM and 7 PM. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
