Warehouse Associate - Wire CutterLooking for an associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where every day is different. Primary duties will involve working in our wire center managing the wire inventory. Hard working, team oriented and self-starting are a must. Reports to: Warehouse ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Ability to lift 75 pounds.Good mechanical skills.Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry specific tasks in our warehouse is key.Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist.Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift.Ability to climb ladders to pull material.Basic math skills.Ability to read a tape measure.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to operate a forklift.Working Conditions:Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.Essential Job Functions:Identify, measure, and cut the correct wire for customers.Fill product orders ensuring accuracy of measurement and wire product selection.Operate the forklift as needed to complete project work.Maintaining the assigned work zone.Resolving discrepancies with appropriate departments.Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.Assign and distribute work through a computer.General housekeeping.CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | VeteranOther Compensation:The following additional compensation may be applicable for this position:Profit SharingInsurance - Medical, Dental, Vision Care for full-time positionsDisability InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Sick LeavePaid HolidaysPaid VacationHealth Savings Account (HSA) and matchingDependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)TeledocPaid Pregnancy & New Parent Leave
