Bulk Milk Receiver Darigold is looking for a Bulk Milk Receiver. This position is responsible for following all Food Safety and Quality requirements as outlined in Darigold's Good Manufacturing Policy, the position Standard Operating Procedures and facility employee training sessions. The position is also required to report any concerns that may impact Food Safety or Quality to their immediate supervisor, the plant Quality Manager or the Plant Manager. Night Shift- Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday from 5:00am to 5:30pm.What You Will Do:Receiving and loading out all bulk milk and cream shipmentsTending the Milk Receiving process from Tanker to SiloHandling, moving, connecting, disconnecting, cleaning, and inspecting receiving bay and the equipment servicing the bayComputing weights and measurements and recording information relative to amounts receivedMaintaining accurate documentation as requiredEnsuring appropriate handling of bulk milk product into the system, verifying the type and source farm/carrier of the incoming raw productPerforming Quality Tests on Raw Milk in accordance with company or regulatory guidelinesEnsuring that tagging and identifying notifications on tanks are correct and recorded properlySubmitting timely and accurate reportsMaintaining clean work areaMaintaining strong service relationships with carrier operatorsAbility to load and unload trucks containing milk in a fast and safe way mannerPerforms CIP sanitation of the Load-Out area; maintains organization of the work area; and performs ongoing cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks in compliance with good manufacturing and warehouse practicesPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorWhat You Bring:High school diploma or equivalent preferred1 year production experience preferredAbility to obtain antibiotic testing certificationAbility to stand, walk, and traverse area for extended periods up to 12 hoursAbility to frequently climb, balance, and work from laddersAbility to utilize fall arrest equipment safely and correctlyMust be able to lift 50 pounds above shoulder heightAbility to organize and analyze process problemsStrong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skillsMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 55 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest levelMust be able to push/pull stacks of product into position for handlingMust be able to continuously stand, walk, flex, stretch, twist and move throughout the area for 8 to 12 hoursMust be able to climb stairsMust have basic arithmetic skills; able to read and understand instructions; and able to write legiblyMust be able to monitor and inspect inventory and reconcile receipt/distribution of productMust be able to follow instructions with minimal supervisionKnowledge of Good Manufacturing ProcessesBenefits of Working at Darigold:Health and Welfare benefitsPaid vacation, sick and holidaysPension contributionCommunity giving through matching donationsEmployee Assistance ProgramAccess to great dairy products & participation in our employee butter purchase programPremium pay for off shifts (night, swing) and vacation relief (where applicable)Our Commitment to Diversity:We are committed to providing a workplace based on mutual respect where all employees feel included and can bring their best and authentic selves to work every day.
