Loader/Operator We are urgently seeking well-rounded loader/operators with experience in food/dairy (GMP) and/or industrial manufacturing environments.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly PayAnd more!Loader/Operator details:Temp-to-hire position$20.00/hourFull-time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Sunday through Saturday from 06:00pm to 06:00am)Duties:Material handling/loading/unloading packaged products onto pallets and material handling equipmentMaintain a fast, consistent pace throughout shiftAttention to detail and ability to conduct unit counting while stacking and organizingAble to identify and solve problems in equipment and batching operationsEnsures regulatory adherence and meets all requirements related to ingredient traceabilityMaintaining organization of the work area and performing ongoing cleaning tasks in compliance with good manufacturing and warehouse practicesCleaning and sanitizing the batching area in accordance with GMP and food safety standardsLoader/operator qualifications:Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Ideal candidate would have experience in the receiving/processing side of the facility, food/industrial material handlingPreferred: forklift experiencePreferred: capability to coordinate the batching and mixing of bulk milk product & familiar with the mix making processPreferred: understanding of ingredient inventory standards and lot trackingMust maintain awareness and alertness to ensure expedient response to any anomalies in productionMust be able to stand/walk for 12 hours; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level and above shoulder heightSafety work bootsKnowledge of good manufacturing processes (GMP) and quality processApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
