Our client, a leading medical device engineering consultancy based in Garden City, Idaho, is seeking a Operations Manager to join their team. As a Operations Manager, you will be part of the Production / Operations department supporting cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Garden City, ID
Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm
What's the Job?
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency and quality standards are met
Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize throughput and reduce waste
Manage process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for equipment and processes
Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure material availability and manage inventory levels
Lead and develop production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial) or Operations Management
7–10 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
Deep knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and CAPA processes
Medical device manufacturing experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across functions
