Logistics Coordinator
The Logistics Coordinator supports data center operations by managing the end-to-end flow of materials, including receiving, storing, and shipping. This role handles a high volume of customer orders and related reporting, ensures accurate inventory and performance tracking, and maintains strong communication with internal teams, customers, and carriers. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, safety-focused warehouse and data center environment.
Responsibilities
- Support data center operations by coordinating the receiving, storing, and shipping of materials.
- Handle customer queries and escalations throughout the life cycle of customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Manage a large volume of day-to-day reports related to customer orders, performance, and operations.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with full-time employees by understanding their day-to-day business requirements and providing appropriate service.
- Prepare, complete, and submit weekly and monthly customer and carrier performance reports with accurate content and within required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records, metrics, and documentation for logistics activities, and perform audits and assessments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Identify, document, and implement Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) in processes, workflows, and systems.
- Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination activities to support inbound and outbound product operations.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all operative systems and tools used in the work area.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners to support smooth operations.
- Set up and use internal systems proactively, including EDI feeds or manual entries, to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Ensure orders are placed and processed in a timely manner to meet KPI requirements and service level expectations.
- Help monitor and maintain proper inventory levels to meet customer expectations and operational needs.
- Perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, and inventory activities using tools like RF scanners and forklifts as needed.
- Carry out general labor duties in the warehouse and data center environment to support overall operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics and data center operations.
Essential Skills
- Experience in logistics or planning with a customer service background and the ability to build relationships and provide timely resolutions.
- Ability to type and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to support material handling and warehouse activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong emphasis on Excel for tracking and analysis.
- Experience using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (considered a strong advantage).
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in an ever-changing, high-pressure environment.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working around or observing forklifts, electric carts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with logistics activities such as forklift operation, picking, packing, inventory handling, and general labor.
- Ability to use RF scanners and related equipment for inventory and order processing.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, metrics, and reports with high attention to detail.

- Experience in a data center or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with EDI feeds and manual data entry into internal systems.
- Experience with performance reporting for customers and carriers.
- Background in safety-focused operations involving high-value equipment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large data center and warehouse environment that combines operational logistics with technology-focused activities. You will work in a climate-controlled facility with significant walking throughout the shift and frequent movement across the warehouse and data center floor. The operation is fast-paced and safety-focused, with strict procedures for handling high-value server equipment and materials. You will be around forklifts, electric carts, and pallet jacks, and will use tools such as RF scanners and computer-based systems to manage inventory and orders. The work setting emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, operational discipline, and consistent, reliable performance.

The pay range for this position is $54745.00 - $54745.00/yr.
