Reviews and processes all court commitments for individuals sentenced to serve county or state jail time; operates both the ACSO Court Services desk and the Alternative Sentencing Division front desk; maintains appointment calendars for the Alternative Sentencing Case Managers; processes payments for Alternative Sentencing and court costs/fees; generates affidavits for non-compliance of individuals who fail to report for their appointment; generates reports that assist in the daily function of the office; and performs related duties as required. Performs clerical and support functions related to the Sheriff's Office. Scope of work requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail. This position is located in the Ada County Sheriff's Office, Court Services Bureau and the Ada County Courthouse. Distinguishing Features of the Class A Law Enforcement Records Technician performs key clerical and customer service functions and tasks that are recurring in nature. The work requires good working knowledge of a variety of specific programs. PAY INFORMATION: New Law Enforcement Records Technicians will start out at a Level I pay rate of $19.00. As new Law Enforcement Records Technicians acquire the required skills, they have the opportunity to promote to a Level II pay of $21.00 (usually occurs within the first year) and then to a Level III pay of $23.00. SHIFT INFORMATION: Generally Monday - Friday, day shift hours, with some flexibility required.
