We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryUnder general direction, the Shipping Receiving Coordinator ensures product availability, schedules deliveries, maintains associated inventory records, and assists in the day-to-day coordination of related functions, while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinates product delivery to growers at an SGS operation to maximize resources of staff and to meet customer needs by scheduling and dispatching delivery staff in a manner which economically utilizes physical and human resources. May personally deliver product to customers.Provides service to walk-in customers. Receives telephone orders from customers and Sales Representatives. Prepares product mix instruction sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets, and work orders.Makes product purchase recommendations to Supervisor/Market Manager to ensure adequate inventory to meet sales and delivery needs. Ensures appropriate receipt and recordkeeping of unit inventory. Performs physical inventory counts.Performs miscellaneous duties such as filing and other clerical tasks, calculating product amounts, calibrating equipment, loading trucks, general equipment and plant maintenance, product storage activities, blending and warehouse work, etc.Disclaimer - These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
