Instructional Designer
The Instructional Designer is responsible for transforming technical and strategic content into impactful, engaging, and business-aligned learning experiences. This role sits at the core of corporate learning and capability building across Latin America.
This is not a content-only role. It is a consultative, solution-oriented position for a professional who can diagnose learning needs, design end-to-end learning journeys, and deliver high-quality training materials that drive performance, engagement, and measurable outcomes across regional projects.
Key Accountabilities:
Learning Design & Content Development
- Partner with clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and define learning objectives
- Design and structure effective learning solutions across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
- Develop instructional materials including storyboards, participant guides, manuals, presentations, and support materials
- Create content for corporate training programs, workshops, e-learning, microlearning modules, and video-based learning
Learning Strategy & Experience Design
- Design comprehensive learning pathways and development journeys aligned with business goals
- Ensure pedagogical quality, consistency, and engagement across all learning materials
- Adapt global content to the cultural and business context of Latin America, with a focus on the Mexican market
- Apply instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Design Thinking, 6Ds) to deliver structured and effective learning experiences
Digital Learning & Innovation
- Develop content compatible with LMS platforms and digital learning environments
- Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar
- Incorporate modern approaches such as microlearning, blended learning, and digital curation
- Leverage AI tools where applicable to enhance content creation and learning efficiency
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with project teams, designers, facilitators, and technical experts to deliver learning solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Participate in client meetings and workshops, providing consultative input and recommendations
- Review, update, and continuously improve learning materials based on feedback and business needs
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of instructional design and clarity
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives
- Continuously enhance learning solutions through feedback, analytics, and best practices
Candidate Profile
Experience & Capability
- Degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, Communication, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related fields
- Proven experience in Instructional Design and corporate training content development
- Experience working with regional or Latin American projects is highly valued
- Background in training consultancies or corporate education environments is a plus
- Experience in the automotive sector is considered a strong advantage
Technical Strength
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate, Rise, or Captivate is preferred
- Knowledge of content curation and digital learning strategies
- Spanish fluency is mandatory
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency required for regional collaboration
