There is a $2 differential for this shift.Job SummaryAs an Apple Sorter for Materne North America, you will be responsible for inspecting, sorting and removing bad apples and other foreign material from production line in an efficient manner according to operational and quality standards.Position ResponsibilitiesInspect, sort and remove bad apples and foreign material from the production line.Assist with providing guidance and coaching to temporary associates or others assigned to apple sorting to ensure that work is being performed to standard, including proper defect identification.Assist with housekeeping, general sanitation and clean-up activities.Assist with raw material waste removalAssist with cinnamon weighing and other tasks as neededMust work a minimum of 12 hoursDemonstrate the Company's values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand for an entire shift (12 hours)Must be able to lift up to 40lbsEducationHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent preferredExperiencePrior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferredPrior experience working in the food industry is preferredKnowledge/SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in EnglishProvide accurate and timely information to Machine OperatorsMaterne, North America offers a competitive compensation package which includes: Medical, Dental & Vision Plans, Life Insurance, including eligible spouses, domestic partners & children; Retirement & Savings Plans, Paid Vacation and Holidays.Materne, North America is an equal opportunity employer.
