Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Work ScheduleThis is a casual/per diem position; hours will be “as needed” and the start and end times will vary.Job ResponsibilitiesLoad all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickupsComplete daily pick-up schedule in a timely mannerDeliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shiftHandle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient mannerSafely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic lawsUtilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pick-upsWork directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as neededEvaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as neededMinimum QualificationsNo education or experience requiredPreferred QualificationsCurrent or Prior Labcorp experience2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital/laboratory operations2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applicationsAdditional Job StandardsVery punctual with strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to problem solve customer issuesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years oldBenefitsEmployees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
