We support our stores with 22 distribution centers and 19 manufacturing plants.The Merchandising Services Department has an opening for a Data Governance Analyst.* Investigate and resolve business and system problems and perform root cause analysis* Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the impact of data and process changes.* Collaborate with application support teams to resolve recurring or escalated issues.* Support project work, data readiness activities, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.* Work independently to address moderately complex business problems using incomplete or evolving information.* Apply logical, structured problem-solving approaches to identify risks, propose solutions, and evaluate options.* Participate in projects focused on systems, integration, or business process enhancements.* Provide daily operational support, including customer service support and troubleshooting business and system issues across multiple functional areas (merchandising, procurement, accounting, retail stores, and plants).* Manage data relationships and settings and implement changes to support business needs* Execute work procedures while continuously driving toward greater independence in handling unique situations* Analyze and interpret data to assess operational impacts and develop solutions based on business needs.* Create procedural documentation, process maps, test scripts, and user acceptance testing as required.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:* 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience* Strong working knowledge of Albertsons Companies' systems preferred* Creative problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenges* Sound judgment and decision-making skills required* Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be able to multi-task.* Strong aptitude for technology and ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and tools.* Excellent customer service skills with reliable follow-through.* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.* Ability to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities.* Effective verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.* Ability to apply logical steps to resolve moderately complex business issues.* Technical proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation within Excel.* Ability to run and modify SQL procedures (preferred).We also provide a variety of benefits including:* Competitive wages paid weekly* Access to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with Stream* Associate discounts* Health and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)* Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
