Facility Maintenance Technician

Position at FloForm Countertops With 16 branches and four manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America. Required immediately, our Boise Branch is seeking a full time Facility Maintenance Technician!

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the mechanical functionality of the branch's equipment and conducting repairs when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Mechanically inclined, knowledge of CNC equipment an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to manage inventory
• Maintenance scheduling
• Basic computer skills for parts research
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and control principles
• Has or can obtain fork lift operator's certificate
• Self-starter

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects and repairs faulty production equipment
• Performs routine maintenance including; cleaning, inspecting and greasing production equipment
• Sets up production equipment to ensure effective operation
• Sources mechanical parts needed for various repairs
• Provides guidance or direction to outside contractors brought in to assist with repairs
• Participates in cross training when asked
• Covers other positions as required to maintain production flow
• Participates in team huddles
• Other duties as assigned
