Financial Analyst – Accounting & Reporting Location: Meridian, ID Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: $65k-$70k Industry: Manufacturing About the Role CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Financial Analyst – Accounting & Reporting professional to join their team. This role is a hybrid between general ledger accounting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) , supporting both the month-end close process and management reporting/analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys combining core accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, budgeting support, and process improvement work . Key Responsibilities Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial results and trends Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with leadership Maintain integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies Assist with internal and external audit requests, including supporting schedules and documentation Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial data Support reporting automation and ERP/process improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a hybrid GL/FP&A role Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis preferred Manufacturing or cost accounting exposure a plus Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Ideal Candidate Profile Hands-on accountant who enjoys both close work and financial analysis Comfortable working in a small-to-mid-sized, fast-paced manufacturing environment Proactive problem solver who looks for process improvement opportunities Strong communicator who can explain financial results clearly to leadership Why This Opportunity Hybrid role blending accounting FP&A exposure Direct impact on financial reporting and business decision-making Opportunity to grow within a lean, collaborative finance team Exposure to both operational accounting and strategic financial analysis PandoLogic.Keywords:Financial Analyst, Location:Meridian,ID-83680, PL:603602145a25371ca-cde7-4fb6-ba87-2cf40b156c8b
