CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to identify a Supply Chain Manager who will oversee purchasing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a small-company environment where collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence are critical to success.
The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with production, finance, operations, and leadership teams to ensure materials are available to support customer demand while maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and improving supply chain performance.
Lead all purchasing and procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management
Develop and maintain inventory strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing carrying costs
Manage production planning and material requirements to support manufacturing schedules
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and quality metrics
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, shortages, and disruptions
Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure timely material availability
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, freight management, and warehouse coordination
Analyze inventory turns, forecasting accuracy, and key supply chain KPIs
Drive process improvements focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and scalability
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and strategic partners
Ensure ERP and inventory management systems are maintained accurately
Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
5+ years of supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or operations management experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supplier management
Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software
Proven ability to negotiate vendor agreements and manage supplier relationships
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes across departments
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, CPIM, or related certifications are a plus
Manufacturing or industrial production environment
Demand planning and forecasting
Inventory optimization and warehouse operations
Continuous improvement initiatives
Small to mid-sized company experience
