CNC Machine Operator

Description:

Adecco is currently seeking a CNC Operator / Programmer to join a local manufacturer specializing in precision plastic-fabricated components. This is a full-time, hands-on role working with CNC routers, mills, and lathes in a clean, quality-controlled manufacturing environment where accuracy and product handling are critical.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC equipment, including MultiCam routers, mills, and lathes
  • Assist in programming and developing machining processes and sequences
  • Set up jobs, including tooling, speeds/feeds, and process parameters
  • Ensure all parts meet tight tolerances and customer specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Perform careful handling of parts to maintain cleanliness and quality standards
  • Support additional production tasks such as:
    • Preparing parts for fabrication
    • Light assembly of plastic components
    • Building crates and packaging parts in a clean environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-aware workspace
  • Follow all safety, quality, and cleanliness protocols

Requirements
  • 1+ year of CNC experience (router, mill, or lathe) or equivalent vocational training
  • Basic understanding of CNC programming and setup
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed specifications
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to work in a clean, detail-focused manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience machining plastic or non-metal materials
  • Experience with MasterCAM or other CAM software
  • Familiarity with MultiCam CNC routers
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to assist with programming and process improvements
  • Willingness to learn and cross-train on additional equipment

Pay & Schedule
Starting Pay: $20.50/hour + DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM + occasional overtime


Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
