About the Opportunity

CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Caldwell to identify a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and operational support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team while gaining exposure to multiple areas of accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support financial statement preparation and internal reporting
• Assist with inventory and manufacturing-related accounting activities
• Analyze financial data and provide reporting support to management
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Assist with process improvements and accounting system initiatives
• Partner with operations and other departments to ensure accurate financial information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
