Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC employs a Process Engineer to create, develop and optimize processes to improve product quality, yield, cost, productivity, and risk management, and to resolve manufacturing line problems.Responsibilities Create, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality, drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and risk management, and resolve manufacturing line problems.Identify, diagnose, and resolve process‑related problems using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC methodology.Coordinate and carry out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process steps, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handle new process baseline qualifications, and manage, audit and collaborate with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives.Supervise the health of assigned processes, ensure high‑quality output, and provide proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact fab cycle time (CT) or turns.Qualifications Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.At least 1 year of experience in a related occupation.Process area knowledge in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or physical vapor deposition (PVD).Experience in semiconductor device development and fabrication.Automation experience through previous projects requiring coding, machine learning, and JMP scripting.Understanding of process flow related to area equipment, SPC principles, and recipe management.Knowledge of physics, area chemistry, and algebraic concepts.Benefits Choice of medical, dental, and vision plans available at all Micron locations.Benefit programs that provide income protection if unable to work due to illness or injury, paid family leave, a robust paid time‑off program, and paid holidays.Additional information available in the Micron Benefits Guide posted on micron.com/careers/benefits.Equal Opportunity Employment Micron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
