By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in‑house, including engineering, 3D‑design, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE‑STOP” shop for any project.Purpose of PositionThe QA & QC Manager is responsible for the overall management of projects under their area of responsibility. They act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and provide leadership and guidance to project team members. They ensure that our clients' expectations are met and that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all standards and regulations.What We OfferCompetitive base salary: $75,000 to $95,000 D.O.ECompany Paid Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life & VisionSupplemental Life Insurance Plan401 (K) with Company Match up to 4%Paid VacationPaid Sick DaysPaid HolidaysJob LocationBoise, IDReporting StructureThe QA & QC Manager reports to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and the Regional Manager.Primary ResponsibilitiesParticipate in design development process that pertain to QA/QC forms and inspectionOversee and distribute QA/QC project documentationEnsure required permits applications are submittedQuality management by focusing on quality requirementsField inspection of mechanical systems for quality control and assurance; observe, document and report all inspections and report all defects or issues to Project Manager/Superintendent/Site LeadershipWork with project manager, superintendent, design team and site leadership to ensure site plans are followedVerify that appropriate inspections are completed for quality control and assuranceExperience, Education & Qualifications5+ years of experience in Plumbing/HVAC project managementAWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) CertificationJobsite experience would be considered an assetAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and the permit processesAbility to manage multiple projects and tasks at a timeSound knowledge of Building Codes and Safety RegulationsStrong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS ProjectKnowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP an assetKnowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam an assetSkills & ProficienciesSelf‑motivated and able to lead and motivate team membersThoughtful and confident decision making and high ethical standardsGood verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalismProblem‑solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressureService‑oriented approach in working with technical and non‑technical business owners and different personality typesStrong attention to detail and high level of organizationOcean Park Mechanical is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and encourages applicants of all backgrounds.
