The role focuses on day‑to‑day equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance and both minor and major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and possibly forklifts. Duties may also cover maintenance of trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding depending on location.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and related systems.Handle major repairs on diesel engines and related components.Maintain AC and electrical systems.Lifting up to 50 lbs.Use personal tools.Preferred QualificationsMinimum 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.Experience with preventive maintenance on Cummins & Detroit engines.Proficiency with Cetaris work order system.Class A CDL holder.Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks.Experience in trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.Company CultureR+L Carriers values diversity and inclusion, with active Women in Trucking initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
