Senior Accountant $80-$90k CV Resources is partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organization in Meridian, ID to find a Senior Accountant to support their growing team. About the Role The Senior/Staff Accountant will play a key role in managing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and grant tracking while ensuring compliance with GAAP and non-profit accounting standards . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced with Sage Intacct . Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting , including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely processing. Assist with grant accounting and fund tracking , ensuring proper allocation of restricted and unrestricted funds. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning alongside leadership. Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations and reporting requirements . Utilize Sage Intacct to manage financial data and reporting. Prepare documentation for annual audits and tax filings . Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization . Proficiency in Sage Intacct (or similar accounting software). Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles . Experience with grant tracking, fund accounting, and financial reporting . Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication .
