CV Resources is partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organization in Meridian, ID to find a Senior Accountant to support their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who is passionate about making an impact while maintaining strong financial stewardship.

About the Role

The Senior/Staff Accountant will play a key role in managing general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and grant tracking while ensuring compliance with GAAP and non-profit accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced with Sage Intacct.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Assist with grant accounting and fund tracking, ensuring proper allocation of restricted and unrestricted funds.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning alongside leadership.
• Ensure compliance with non-profit financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Utilize Sage Intacct to manage financial data and reporting.
• Prepare documentation for annual audits and tax filings.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct (or similar accounting software).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles.
• Experience with grant tracking, fund accounting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
