Job Description and Requirements
WhatYou'llDo
Drive design ofdistributed, scalable, secure full-stack cloud services that process petabytes of data weekly, owning architecture and implementation while influencing execution across engineering.
Resolve complex, cross-organizational technical problems through deep technicalexpertise, collaboration, and hands-on implementation.
Provide technical direction across frontend, backend, and data layers, collaborating with teams, peers, and principal engineers on system design and architecture.
Collaborate closely with teams to solve complex technical and business problems and build AI-powered legal data solutionsthatoperate atmassive scale.
Drive engineering standards across multiple teams, including performance, scalability, reliability, and security, through design and code reviews, patterns, best practices, documented standards, and coaching.
Align technical execution with product strategy and delivery commitments,identifyingand removing technical and operational friction.
Mentor senior and lead engineers, shaping technical decision-making and technical culture.
WhatWe'reLooking For
Required
10+ years of experience designing,buildingandoperatingcomplex cloud-native distributedsystems.
Demonstrated technical leadership acrossmultiple teams or domains.
Strong background inarchitecture, security, and reliabilityat scale.
Ability to define technical direction and drivecross-team alignment.
Experience translatingbusiness goals into technical strategy.
Proven ability to influence without formal authority.
Strong mentorship and technical communication skills.
Preferred
Experience shapingdata platforms or UI standards.
Experience working inglobal or highly distributed organizations.
Track recordof drivingorganization-wide technical improvements.
Familiarity with AI-development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
Experience inregulated or large-scale environments

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
$174,000 and $262,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
