This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of infrastructure, restoration, and remediation projects while developing strong technical and field experience alongside senior engineers and project managers.We are seeking candidates with hydraulic modeling experience and strong Civil 3D drafting and design skills. Experience in SRH-2D modeling, HEC-RAZ modeling, scour analysis, bridge-related civil design, FEMA permitting, and construction oversight is highly desirable.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking hands-on project experience and mentorship while building technical and project delivery skills.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling using HEC-RAS, SRH-2D and related toolsSupport floodplain, scour and hydraulic structure analysisPrepare engineering drawings and design layouts using Civil 3DAssist with grading, drainage, and site design developmentSupport preparation of plans, specifications, and technical reportsParticipate in field work including construction observation and documentationCoordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teamsSupport permitting and regulatory compliance documentationMentor and collaborate with junior staff as experience growsDesired QualificationsBachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field14 years of relevant experienceExperience with hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS and SRH-2D)Experience or coursework related to scour analysis and hydraulic structure evaluationProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and designConstruction observation or construction oversight experience preferredFamiliarity with bridge-related civil design or construction is beneficialExperience with FEMA floodplain permitting or CLOMR/LOMR processes is a plusEIT certification or ability to obtain preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work both in office and field settingsPreferred AttributesInterest in working on community-focused infrastructure and environmental projectsAbility to work in small project teams with increasing responsibilityDesire to grow technically and professionally within a collaborative companyLocationCandidates located in or willing to relocate to Idahos Silver Valley are strongly preferred.
