The ideal candidate for this hands-on role will be a finance leader capable of translating project and company performance into clear, strategic recommendations for executive decision-making. Key responsibilities for the CFO include directing the budgeting cycle, financial forecasting, and long-range planning to support business goals. The successful candidate will also be tasked with evaluating earnings, gross margin, and operating results to provide meaningful insights, overseeing project-based accounting activities, and monitoring liquidity through detailed cash flow planning.Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have 7 to 12 years' of experience in accounting or finance leadership, with a strong background in ESOP and a deep knowledge of job cost accounting, work-in-progress reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting methods. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of supervising and developing accounting teams, as well as a demonstrated readiness for a senior executive finance leadership position. While not mandatory, experience in the construction industry and familiarity with employee stock ownership or employee-ownership reporting are preferred.
