Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Boise, ID

Compensation: $27-$35/hr

• 1.5x for all OT
• $65/per diem for travel days
• Flight, hotels, car rental and additional costs covered
• Duration: 12-Month Rolling Contract

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for traveling to different sites to do installations of the equipment. The first 15 days they will designate what tool set they will be working on and what customers they will be helping do installations for. From there, the following 30 days they will be scheduled for a 3-week training. On top of installations, they will be assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Comfortable with up to 80% travel; average is about 40-50% and will be largely project (installations) based
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
• Military experience in the following MOS': Avionics Technician, Load Master, Electronics Technician or Vehicle Tech
