Advanced Field Service Engineer – Boise, IDThis role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment. You will service the multiple analyzers in the Beckman Coulter Dx portfolio, reporting to the Service Manager, and working remotely to cover Boise, ID. You must reside in the Boise metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.Key ResponsibilitiesWork independently, handling complex troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs of Beckman Coulter equipment, while delivering efficient service and training to customers.Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times using OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning.Engage with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical guidance, serving as a subject matter expert, and training newer Field Service Engineers.Essential RequirementsAssociate degree or equivalent military experience (applicable military experience considered on a case‑by‑case basis).6+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic, and/or instrumentation equipment.Travel, Vehicle & Physical RequirementsValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to travel within assigned geography and periodically to other areas/overnight.Ability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods. Must reach at, above, and below shoulder level; have good hand and finger dexterity.Preferred Skills8+ years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic equipment in a laboratory field service or biomedical engineering role.Experience developing positive business relationships with stakeholders, increasing customer satisfaction and retention.Technical college major in biomed, engineering, or related field.The hourly range for this role is $43.00–$50.00 .The position is eligible for a remote work arrangement.
