Responsibilities

• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding according to specifications.
• Assembly: Assemble components and parts using various hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Welding Support: Assist welders by setting up welding equipment and ensuring all materials are ready for the welding process.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Technical Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand assembly requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues during the assembly process.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Documentation: Document and report any deviations from standard processes or product issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Look for ways to improve the manufacturing process and drive the changes needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or manufacturing is preferred.
• Previous experience in welding, assembly, or a related field.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and exposure to orbital welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
