Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000 (depending on experience)

The Chief Estimator – Water & Wastewater leads all preconstruction and estimating efforts for complex water and wastewater projects, driving winning pursuit strategies from early planning through GMP and handoff to construction. This role partners closely with operations, business development, and design teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and risk‑managed bids that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of bid strategies, estimates, schedules, and work plans for water and wastewater projects.
• Oversee estimating teams, ensuring efficiency, quality, accountability, and adherence to KPIs.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments, Go/No‑Go analyses, and contract reviews.
• Develop and manage General Conditions/General Requirements, self‑perform scopes, and safety provisions.
• Support collaborative delivery methods including CMAR and Design‑Build pursuits.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Business Development and act as an industry ambassador.
• Mentor and develop estimating talent while continuously improving estimating processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Water & Wastewater Treatment construction and delivery methods.
• 5–10+ years of estimating leadership experience on projects over $10M.
• Experience with alternative delivery, preconstruction, and self‑perform scopes.
• Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Procore, and CPM scheduling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (required).
