Overview

Killer Golf is a premium, performance driven putter brand built on precision engineering, innovation, and customization. The company is entering a critical growth phase and is focused on scaling distribution across pro shops, fitters, and retail partners nationwide.

We are seeking a Director of Sales to build and lead the sales organization from the ground up. This role is responsible for driving distribution, managing and developing a sales team, and creating a repeatable system that delivers consistent revenue growth.

This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in an early stage environment and can turn initial traction into a scalable sales engine.

Role Objective

  • Build a national network of more than 100 active pro shop and fitter accounts
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high performing sales team
  • Drive consistent monthly sell through across all partner accounts
  • Establish a structured pathway to convert high performing partners into wholesale accounts
  • Create a scalable and predictable sales system that supports long term growth

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard sales representatives across key regions
  • Set clear performance targets and maintain accountability across the team
  • Coach and develop team members to consistently achieve and exceed targets
  • Build a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement

Distribution and Network Growth

  • Drive expansion into pro shops and fitters across priority markets
  • Ensure the team consistently meets monthly targets for new account acquisition
  • Build density in strategic golf regions to strengthen brand presence
  • Monitor pipeline and ensure steady growth in active accounts

Revenue and Sell Through

  • Own total unit sales performance across all partner accounts
  • Ensure each representative achieves consistent monthly sales targets
  • Identify underperforming accounts and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with the team to improve sell through through training and engagement

Account Quality and Conversion

  • Ensure new accounts meet quality standards and long term potential
  • Drive the transition of high performing partner accounts into wholesale relationships
  • Monitor account performance and optimize the mix of partners over time
  • Build a pipeline of accounts ready for scale and long term revenue contribution

Sales Systems and Execution

  • Develop and implement clear sales processes and workflows
  • Establish key performance indicators across acquisition, sales, and conversion
  • Build reporting systems and dashboards to track team performance
  • Continuously improve efficiency, productivity, and overall results

Industry Presence and Relationships

  • Represent Killer Golf at trade shows, tournaments, and industry events
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the golf ecosystem
  • Strengthen brand positioning within the premium golf segment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in sales with leadership responsibility
  • Experience in the golf industry or premium consumer products is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams
  • Strong understanding of pro shop and retail sales environments
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and execution level
  • Strong analytical and data driven decision making skills

Compensation

Base + Commission + Bonus

  • Performance based compensation tied to total team unit sales and overall revenue output
  • Additional incentives tied to wholesale conversions and distribution milestones
  • Quarterly performance bonus based on achievement of company level targets
