Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced HVAC ServiceTechnician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems. [Pay is based on experience]* Installation & Repair: Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.* Troubleshooting: Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.* Preventive Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance to prevent system failures, such as cleaning ducts and calibrating thermostats.* Compliance & Safety: Adhering to safety regulations (OSHA) and EPA standards regarding refrigerant handling.* Customer Service: Explaining issues to customers and recommending maintenance.* Documentation: Keeping logs of work performed and parts used.Required Qualifications & Skills* Education: High school diploma/GED; completion of an HVAC program or apprenticeship is preferred.* Certification: EPA Universal certification is generally required for handling refrigerants.* Experience: 1-4+ years of experience in HVAC service or installation.* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systems.We Offer:* Company vehicle provided* Experience based payCompany DescriptionEstablished in 2005 American Mechanical Corporation is a full service mechanical contractor.
