Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly organized Material Coordinator in Boise, Idaho to oversee all material logistics for a major construction project. This role ensures that materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered to field teams to support efficient project execution. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in construction inventory and warehouse operations.

Role accountabilities:

  • Manage the flow of materials from delivery to final distribution on the jobsite.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate material requirements.
  • Issue materials to subcontractors while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Responsible for filling subcontractor requests via inventory management system; inclusive of supporting physical material retrieval (when applicable); updating inventory system and transmittal to subcontractor.
  • Maintain accurate inventory utilizing an inventory management software platform.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and full inventories; reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Oversee warehouse and laydown area organization, ensuring safe and efficient storage of materials.
  • Perform initial quality checks of materials received, inclusive of quality and quantity versus shipping manifest.
  • Implement tracking and storage systems to improve material accessibility.
  • Support continuous improvement of material handling processes and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies related to warehouse and material operations.
  • Provide periodic updates and reporting metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in construction logistics, warehouse management, or material coordination required.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced construction environment and lift/handle materials as needed.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects and knowledge of semiconductor construction materials, tools, and site workflows preferred.
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
