What You'll Need: • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required • 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist Minimum Requirements • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program • AART Certification in Radiation Therapy • Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by Idaho • Minimum 2 years' clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist • Experience operating linear accelerators and verifying treatment plans • Experience working in outpatient radiation oncology settings • Ability to position patients accurately and use immobilization devices • Proficiency in documenting treatments and maintaining patient records • Client-specific requirement: Availability for a 13-week assignment with potential extension Preferred: Experience with IGRT, VMAT, and treatment planning software is preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Outpatient Shift name: Days Shift details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 Hours per week: 36–40 hours No call and no holiday coverage required Assignment length: 13-week initial assignment with high possibility to extend Location Highlights Discover Nampa, ID and the surrounding Treasure Valley. Nampa is adjacent to the Boise metropolitan area, approximately 20 miles west of downtown Boise and about a 30–40 minute drive to Boise Airport. The area provides access to outdoor recreation at nearby Snake River and Lake Lowell, with boating and fishing opportunities within a 10–20 minute drive. Drive times to state and national attractions include Silver Creek Preserve and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, roughly 1.5 to 2 hours away for hiking, fishing, and mountain scenery. The city offers a suburban lifestyle with a growing downtown district, local breweries, and community events, while commuters can reach Boise's urban amenities and cultural venues in under an hour. Public transit options include regional bus connections and easy highway access via I-84 for travel throughout the Treasure Valley. Additional Duties: • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment. • Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. • Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team. • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. • Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.
