What you will do: The Dental Practice Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the operations of the dental practice. Effective team leadership, driving positive team culture and continuous improvement. Manage the day-to-day performance of assigned staff. Determines workforce staffing for front office and clinical staff. Oversees hiring and training of new staff members. Organize and oversee supply purchases, equipment upgrades, and operations expenses. Monitor and maintain practice budget. Assesses team performance. Completes 30, 60, 90 day reviews on all new hires. Organizing, planning, and leading regular staff meetings. Identifies training needs and secures resources as necessary. Protects patient confidentiality per practice policy and procedure and HIPAA regulations. Manages and implements procedures, policies, schedules, and systems for smooth operations and staffing. Meets routinely with Director of Operations to set goals and discuss projection for practice. Participates in development, implementation and monitoring of effective systems, protocols, and policies. Participates in leadership, management and training meetings, and planning processes to support the objectives and implementation of strategic business plans. Support marketing and promotion initiatives. Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA. Develops, presents, and schedules annal training for Infection Control, Safety, OSHA, PPE standards, and CPR renewals. To be successful in this position you will need: Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, practice team members and business support team members Dedication to customer/patient satisfaction Excellent communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and be detail oriented Budget and supply oversight, personnel management, and team building experience Proficiency with technology including computers, email, Excel and shared drives Education and/or Experience: College degree in Management or other applicable discipline 1+ years of practice management experience within the dental industry Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of dental office experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and treatment coordination. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Carestack) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
