Job Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute experience as a CCC-SLP
License: State Licensure and CCC-SLP required
Certifications: BLS Certification required

Must-Have:
Proficiency in performing modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) and video fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS)
Ability to evaluate and treat dysphagia and cognitive deficits
Experience with neurologic conditions, general medical, orthopedic, and cardiac patient care

Description:
The role involves treating 8-10 patients per day.
You will work as part of a team of 2-5 therapists daily.
Common diagnoses include neurologic conditions such as CVA, MS, Parkinson's, and Guillain Barre.
You will also treat patients with orthopedic issues such as total joint replacements and fractures.
Experience with acute inpatient and outpatient settings is necessary.
You will be required to cover acute inpatient care and perform MBSS/VFSS.
Collaboration with a manager will be available on each shift.
There will be no self-scheduling, but requests will be considered for the work schedule.
Weekend work is required for 2 days each month, with opportunities for additional weekend shifts.
A dress code of any color scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable.
The facility maintains a radius rule to ensure compliance for staffing.
