A company is looking for a Clinical Genomic Specialist to support clinical whole genome sequencing for Proactive and Rare Disease products.Key ResponsibilitiesReview clinical documentation and extract appropriate HPO terms for interpretation and reportingDraft clinical reports and perform variant assessment and classification for whole genome sequencing productsProvide genomic testing expertise to internal teams and collaborate cross-functionally on various projectsRequired QualificationsMS in Genetics, Genetic Counseling, Molecular Biology, or a related field from an accredited programABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required2 - 5+ years of experience in variant interpretation, curation, and/or clinical report writingPrevious experience in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic genetics setting strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of human genetics, molecular biology, and diagnostic genetic testing concepts
