A company is looking for a Physician Coding Education Specialist.Key Responsibilities:Conduct internal audits and analyze professional coding for accuracy across service linesDevelop and present educational programs to improve coding practices among physicians and staffMaintain a 90% coding accuracy rate and provide statistical reports on coding efficiencyRequired Qualifications:Associate degree required, or five years of related work experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 5-6 years of professional coding experience, including various specialtiesMust maintain one of the specified national coding certificationsProficient in CPT-4, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and HCPCS coding principlesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
