Job Location: Boise, ID (Onsite)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an elite Tier 3 Sanctions & EDD Specialist to handle the highest-stakes compliance workflows for a major global platform. This role operates under zero-margin-for-error conditions and extremely tight statutory SLAs (1 business day for Sanctions). You will act as the final adjudicator for complex geopolitical risk, sanctions overlap, and high-risk corporate structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapid Sanctions Adjudication: Act as the final authority on complex Sanctions cases, reviewing IP, device, and identity data to confirm or dismiss true matches against global watchlists (OFAC, UN, EU, etc.) strictly within a 1-business-day SLA.

  • Final EDD Resolution: Finalize high-stakes Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations on high-risk sellers, merchants, and creators, ensuring completion within the mandated 14-day SLA.

  • Corporate Unwrapping: Conduct deep-dive investigations into complex Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) structures, shell companies, and high-risk jurisdictions.

  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all final investigative narratives and decisions meet strict statutory standards and are fully defensible in the event of an external regulatory audit.

  • Risk Escalation: Interface directly with client USDS (U.S. Data Security) or compliance leadership to flag immediate, critical risks or systemic vulnerabilities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of specialized experience in Global Sanctions screening, complex EDD, and high-risk entity investigations.

  • Subject matter expertise in global sanctions regimes (OFAC, etc.) and strict liability compliance.

  • Proven track record of operating in zero-defect, highly audited environments with aggressive turnaround times.

  • Superior analytical and investigative writing capabilities.

  • CAMS or CGSS (Certified Global Sanctions Specialist) certification is highly preferred.
